Alternate Accounts

A lot of people will note that I've mentioned that I have multiple accounts. Some people frown on this saying it's unfair, others accept it as part of the game. Both are kind of right.

It used to be people would make 100s of accounts the day a referral card was listed, level them all to 10 using some sort of bot, then trade all the resources to a main account. This was shady. I don not condone or support such activity because it's game breaking.

I DO condone creating however many accounts you will actually PLAY. For most people this is two to three. I myself currently have two, but will be creating a stamina account as my third. I play both accounts regularly enough to be in a top 300 Order on one, and a top 150 order on the other. Neither account is useful during stamina events...QQ.

Each account should be viewed like a business. Starting one from scratch was expensive, but is finally yielding something. To start the second one you should transfer resources to speed up its progress, accepting that although you'll go negative at start it will result in higher yields in the long run.

There are some rules I advise when creating a second account (A non stamina account):

Rule 1: Treat it as a main account.

-By treating the account as a main account, you create value for it. Your actual main account should virtually be on auto pilot leaving time available for the second account. Think of it like a business, once your main building is up and running smoothly, you go to your second to run it and make sure it runs smoothly.

Rule 2:  Do not steal from your second account.

-Do not use HP from your second account to feed your first account. The HP you earn on your second account should be used to progress the account. Sometimes you can take from your first account for your second, but you should never take from your weaker account unless it's absolutely necessary.

Rule 3: Transfer cards, HP, CW over to account number two.

-You will progress faster if you have a decent deck, hp, and cw. I'm not talking about great cards, but for example I had four DK Lucy's sitting around and two full evo rares that went to my second account. I gave the account 50HP and 20CW to start. Because I did this, there was no need for me to spend HP on cards, allowing me to accumulate HP fast on account number two. Also by having a decent deck at a low level and a willingness to blow 50HP on a Holy War, I managed to enter a decent order.

Rule 4: Friend your main account

-This gives you the ability to trade and utilize your bazaar tickets and cards to maximize profits. Pretty self explanatory.

If you do this, eventually you will have two higher level accounts that will get double rewards doing HW and the ability to transfer HP/CW cards between them to help them both.

Stamina Accounts: A stamina account is necessary for stamina based events as well as gaining feeders for your main account. Only a single stamina account is necessary as the events are so competitive that splitting your resources is expensive and difficult. Make sure to leave enough attack/defense for one attack and one defend, otherwise gaining treasures during the event are a pain.

Power Leveling Accounts:  To power level an account the easiest method is to place all points into stamina. I normally recommend getting around 300 stamina. If you push it a lot past you won't be able to drop it down to 150 easily. Use CW to level quickly.

Reallocating points: Hard way is to remove fellows yourself, suffering additional point losses if you do more than one in a day. Easy way is to have people unfellow you. If they refuse just keep sending them stupid trades for being dicks.

Logging in and out: Swapping between accounts on a single device is easily done by force stopping the application and clearing cache. You will be able to log into the alternate account. Of course the account won't be registered.

Registering a second account: I'm sure you have a parent, friend, sibling that has a smart phone or tablet that doesn't play, once authenticated, the account can be accessed from any device. There are other ways but I'm not going into them, they are shady. Google it.

The advantages of having multiple accounts should be obvious.  You get multiple login rewards, multiple HW rewards, extra bazaar tickets, and easy access to feeders. On top of this it's almost necessary in order to have an account that can do well during stamina based events. Just remember, each account needs attention.

  1. I have a bunch of feeders but I ended up scrapping them to cover losses from last holy war... thats not my question tho. I am level... 80? and am currently using valk hild, thor, fox spirit, quinlong, and principality. I am painfully aware that valk hild needs to go... should I get a cheap boost card like michael or go for another decent wing like gilgamesh?

    1. I don't like Michael as a card, his buff is only 10%. It's tough to say since your deck is kind of motley. Valk hild offers a better buff than mike but her base stats are pretty low.

Thor/Fox are solid cards. Valks buff is 15% so I wouldn't scoff at it. I would aim for replacing the quin first with a more powerful wing.

    2. Ok that makes good sense... so that said, what are the best gods wing cards? for stat, thor obviously, but im a bit low on hp at the moment because I just finished the first one. So should I make gilg or hermes? Gilg has a more useful skill but if i keep hermes at skill one and it doesnt go off, the stats work better for me...

  2. Hey Lucarda. I was wondering if you know why the base statistics 4800 def of man sr witchcrafter is so high but the ff card only has 18.8k defense. I've been looking around and can't find an answer anywhere.

    1. WC is only of the oldest SR cards. As such there are some abnormalities with their stats, she's not the only card that's like that but I can't remember which ones are the others.

    2. Thanks. I thought it might have been a reward card or referral onus card or something but that clears it up.

  3. Thank for the info most was self explainatory but more knowledge is always better. I just became 2nd in command for my order and im trying to set up a forum outside the game so we can communicate better for hw. I know ppl use kik and line messaging but i was wondering if i should start a forum solely for my order. since you run this blog/forum could you give me advice on how to do so?

    1. It's tough. Most people I know who play the game play on a phone while not near a computer. Line/Palingro are the best ways imho to keep up communication.

I have no knowledge on how to create a forum unfortunately. I would recommend you go to a guildhosting site and sign up for their free service. Normally comes with a forum option.

  4. I am aware that a lot of this is probably already known by a large percentage of the player base, but a lot of people who read my blog are new to the game and probably don't realize the benefit of running 2 accounts.

A lot of other players also just use their accounts to feed their first and don't recognize the benefits of building them up to be equally powerful.

  5. This info is great i did build a stamina account early on even being new to the game but need to get it registered is the only part and since the new unregistered cant trade and gift it screwed me pretty bad. Thanks for all the advice on this. I just started LOC and been working on that one. just wanted to say yer blog is great always looking for new stuff on here and rereading old.

    2. I'm guessing that's an android thing. I don't think there's a menu like that on iPhone.

    3. You can log out through the Mobage icon in the top left. Tap your name to enter your profile, then there's a 'Logout' button at the bottom right. Alternatively, go to your profile > settings > Logout

I have to use the second option sometimes, since the longer I play the less responsive my profile becomes to my frenzy of taps.

This is all on Android (Razr Maxx), and no idea if it works on iOS.

    4. I did actually figure out how to clear cache on iOS. You have to get a 3rd party program called iFunBox. It lets you edit application data without jailbreaking. You can clear the cache that way (have to delete tmp, documents, and cache to make it work properly), but it does require you to be plugged into a computer to do it. Made a stamina account today. Thanks for the advice Lucarda.

  7. At this point it seems like there are many CW Events going on pretty regularly. I have read different speculation on why this might be, but for the purposes of this post it's not relevant. What I am interested in is the viability of setting up a Second Account a Stamina account. I started a second one today, but it's still early enough to decide what to do with it. My thought was that I could use it to feed my main account cards to skill up and enhance cards more quickly as well as perform well in HW. Based on my experience with my first account it will take about 3 weeks to generate about 550 stat points which should put me in a good place to feed for the next HW.

It's hard for me to envision how I can simultaneously grow 2 accounts to be powerful. It seems like you post is more directed to already established players, who have an account that can run on autopilot. I am not in such a place at this time. I don't even have all the card in my deck max enhanced/evolved yet, not to mention that they aren't good cards to begin with. All that said I think for now a Stamina Feeder account is worth the time investment and could be restructured later when it has served its purpose or become on of those 600+ Stamina accounts that plays big boy ball in CW events. Let me know if you think I'm doing it wrong.

As a life note I do not have time to run 3 accounts from the beginning at this point, as I progress I may have more time for another account, but for now 2 is all I can handle.

    1. Well, my main account gets maybe 10 minutes of play in a day. My second account for a while was getting a little more than that a day while I was building it up but currently gets about 10 minutes of play. Keep in mind I don't participate in CW events, thus freeing up time on both accounts.

For newer players the second account should be a stamina account. CW events are easier for new players to do well in than HW since deck power doesn't matter.

1- I use actually my Galaxy S3 as main account.
2- I want create a second account on my Galaxy Tab 2, but.. some are weird to me:
    a) On Galaxy Tab 2 : Must I create a new Google Account also? or use the same I had created (and still using) on my Galaxy S3?
    b) On Galaxy Tab 2 : Must I create a NEW mobage account (right no?), and using an another email ?
    c) You said empty the CACHE.. Hum, I know how to do that, but?? Mobage say clearly on their FAQ: 1 account per 1 device
    It really works ?
This way symbolize a manner for having more accounts on 1 device ?

    So thanks for answer Lucarda!
(also I appreciate so much your help! And I play to the Legend of the Cryptids too, a great game, with stunning artwork, but.. the "BATTLE" and "DECKS" are a bit weird in this other game, anyway, it is not the question :)

    1. Mobage only asks you register with your email so you can use an email you simply generated for the purpose of the game. It is required you use a different email.

1 Account per device is correct for AUTHENTICATION. But if I have a tablet and want to check my tablets account on my phone at work, I see no issue in doing it. I view the rule as stating you must OWN a device for each account you have. For me I have 2 Tablets, and 2 Phones.

Hmm, but some few questions: If I "AUTHENTICATE" my Tablet with the new account, is will be possible of using my account (which have on my Galaxy S3) on my tablet Galaxy Tab 2, Meaning use the account UNAUTHENTICATE but impossibility of Accept Presents (the second tab in Presents menu), right?

Also, a new mini-question: Then Mobage don't care of the Google account used ?

Thanks (and sorry for disturb... I know my questions can be stupid.. But, I don't want left stupid, then why it is I ask that :D)

    4. You can create as many accounts as you want without authenticating, but I find those to be a waste of time in comparison to authenticated accounts.

If an account has already been authenticated on any device, you can use it to its full potential on any device. Mobage just wants to limit the number of authenticated accounts.

Also... I heard creating alternating REAL or not REAL play account is prohibited by Mobage/Cygames...

    6. I believe the rule is purely on the authentication end. I believe you are allowed to have multiples as long as you have the devices to authenticate.

    7. Thanks for Answer Lucarda!

Hello, yesterday, when I clicked on Enhance button, a Top Notice showed up: Mobage go in a BAN hunt.. Did you see that too?

Also, If it's only prohibited if not authenticate, then it's good, since I want to authenticate it for gain Presents and boost my Gods realm play.

      Don't you?

    8. Generally the Mobage is pretty fair about bans. They generally find people who are running like 4 feeder accounts to one main account. 10 def/10 atk is normally are normally clear indicators then they can look through trades/gifting. Also, the accounts that stop at level 10 and stay there forever, those get purged generally.

If Mobage banned me for playing my tablet account and my phone account on the same device instead of carrying them both with me like a jackass I'd be a little bit disappointed in them. It would be their right, but unfortunate.

  10. My order member told me about a way to create an account for hw that would supposedly allow you to attack 4time/hp at just lvl 60-70. However you would be stuck wjth 10 stamina. Idk if this was doable before but I tried testing it out and removing fellows takes away 5 stats from the unused ones instead of the ones used. Anyway I wanted to know if you ever heard of this method or heard of any other new way of creating a account purely for hws.

  15. Regarding defense and attack decks. During battles after realm and order boosts; the attacking side will activate skills first and then the defending side will activate theirs. Doesn't that make debuffing stronger than buffing? Or does it not necessarily work that way?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. In theory yes. The downside is that most effective debuff cards use the (ALL) modifier so they can be used against any opponent. Buffs can use the realm specific modifier.

The difference in those buff powers are what make Debuffs less effective. A Great buff to realm is 15%, A great debuff to ALL is 10%, a Big boost to realm is 13%, a Big Debuff to ALL is 8%, etc.

  16. Hey lucarda

Have you found out anything about how the proper way to calculate total dmg done. Ive been doing
(base x realm) x order) x attk/def lead) xboost) xboost) xboost). But ive been hearing that it is incorrect.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. I heard the skill boosts were additive so each is computed individually and then added to the final total.

I think it goes something like ((BasexBoost)+(BasexBoost)+(BasexBoost))(Realm)(Order)(Atk/Def lead).

      Delete
  17. I use a similar formula and I end up getting varied results. I think somewhere the multiplier I am using is incorrect. For instance I use 5% Order, & 5% Realm. The tricky part for me is how they stack. I think it may be possible that the Order and realm boosts both work of the the Base then Sum.

    Base*Realm+Base*Order=Pre Skill Buff Base

I'm not sure this is correct but it gives me closer number to what i see in game. The other part you have to watch is the % you put in for skills higher than level 1. A Medium Boost to ONE Realm is 10% at level 1. However when you skill it up it only increases by 1% (Medium boost Skill 10 only then yields a 19% Buff or 10% + 9 increases). All that said I have yet to come up with a formula that gets everything down to the exact amount. I can get pretty close, but not exact.

I guess this is the heart of my response. I don't see the need anymore to know the exact value. The only thing I really use my deck calculator for at this point is deciding what cards to use and where to put them, and the differences are apparent even conceding the 1-2% error in calculation. A more reliable way to do this is take a day like today when nothing is going on in the game and record your attacks. Without HPs you can probably attack 10-15 times. Record your base, what boosts you get and the results and chart them. When doing testing like this try to pick the weakest opponents possibly as they will be less likely to have cards in there deck that will alter, or significantly alter your attack. My personal preference are the opponents with Slime Elena as a leader card (No Skill).

I do this pretty regularly and chart the cards that trigger all the time. It's been beneficial because it helps me balance my deck to match what's really going on, as well as maintain a realistic hope for what I should be getting out of my attacks.

It seemed like once you got to level 50 and beyond it is a useless exercise in trying to get the perfect attack, because even if you do someones defense is going to screw it all up.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Clarifying Note: The last sentence should read "It seemed like after level 50 calculating your attack perfectly was a useless exercise because your opponents decks will invariably effect your attack with skills."

      Sorry for the confusion.

      Delete
    2. I agree about it being a useless exercise. Generally people get caught up in the exact math but the truth is more often than not if you need to be that exact, your match is going to be decided by luck of which cards proc.

I normally say, aim for a high base with the right top three cards and that's enough.

  18. Hey man,
I just wanted to say thanks so much for your blog! I started playing RoB during the last HW, so I am pretty new. Fortunately I was extremely lucky and pulled a King Arthur with one of my first packs and sold it for 400HP, which got me off to a booming start.
Being new and not knowing much about the game I squandered most of my new found wealth on cards that weren’t as good as I thought. Your blog really helped me figure out the inner workings of deck building etc after I limped along for about a month!
    Anyway, thanks, great site.
Just a quick question in terms of direction. I just got into a great new guild anticipating the next HW (the first I will be involved in as an active, informed, decent player. I am an ATK leader and just looking to buff up my deck to best serve my realm. Currently it looks like this:
    1: Trow Elf (Skill: 6) Evolved: 5-max
    2: Ancient Fairy / Titan / Maya(Skill: 5) Evolved 6-5
    3: Sword Valkyrie (Skill: 4) Evolved 4-max
    4: Principality (Skill: 4) Evolved 6-5
    5: Ancient Fairy/Titan
    - The positions change depending on what realm my defender is. AF slots in at 2 against demons, Titan in slot 2 verses Men, and Maya against God decks.
    - My base is just over 85K… I have about 200 HP and am just wondering where do I start buffing. I know I will have to let go of Trow eventually as I try to get more and more competitive, but I don’t think I need to until I move up to SSR’s
    - What do you recommend as a next step? (PS Defense is adequate with Aspara, Shield Angel, Cybel and 2x Lovely Elf, and as an attack leader I feel I should prioritize offense)

    Replies
    1. Haha, I actually had myself removed as an attack leader in my order because as I would gather points and burn HP constantly the other team would farm me because of my low defense. (I've improved it since).

Your next step is your set for your next Holy War. You should be burning about 100HP+ and the biggest mistake you could make is putting yourself in a position where you spend 100HP during HW and have little to none upon finishing it. It will be harder to earn more if you don't have any.

Normally I would say swap out that trow but since you alter your deck to favor debuffing it's fine to keep it in. As you move away from debuffing cards and move into buffing cards you want to maintain three powerful buffs in 1/2/3 spots. Wing cards should just be high damage like Sephirot/Cait.

You can work on wings first and keep your custom debuffs or go for Ifrit, Sword Valk, Sword Valk and two high damage wings like Sephirot/Cait.

      Delete
  19. Lucarda- Do you find any use to running the math during Holy Wars as an evaluation tool for deciding when to make the HP investment. In this particular game I find it hard to do because of the lmited information you gain by "scouting." Scouting is a technique used in games where a players defense or attack for that matter can be scouted by sacrificing a battle in an effort to illuminate what the opponent has in their deck.

Unfortunately beyond pictures (which can be learned) it is hard to tell what someones stats are because you don't know how they evoed cards to get there. Much less can you tell what skill level their cards are. I try to do this sometimes with varied results. With most 60K plus deck it's a fair assumption to think cards where a minimum 4-6 evo with some cards being 6-6s. The goal of this analysis is to calculate early in wars if your order is capable of winning the war based on scouting the other teams decks. Like I said I don't know the viability of this yet.

It is possible, likely even, that the alternative of using a defense leaders stats you can evaluate the order as a whole. You have advocated this over and over. The theory here being that the defense leader obviously has the best defense stats so if you can take them down then why not the rest following.

Once again unfortunately I don't think that my current order is anywhere near this level of analysis or coordination. I highly anticipate that HW for my order is going to be a bunch of random battles for "Glorious Victory," but in the end a Glorious Defeat and Holy Powders lost.

Such are my ruminations this fine November Day.

    1. Generally speaking my order eyeballs it. We take down a defense leader before we take down a wall.

Generally after that it only takes a few attacks in to decide if they're monsters or not. My job in the order is simple. I see if a battle is going, if the wall is down I just keep attacking the person I can find that offers the most points.

I'm very simple in my approach. Order says attack, I attack.
