Sorry for Delays

Sorry for delays on posts. I've been working on a lot of projects for work as well as other sites so I haven't really had time to do some of the things I've been wanting to do.

This month I plan on working on:

Updating my Best Decks Posts
A post on the evolution of Rage of Bahamut over the last year

Plus. If people post for stuff they're wanting me to write about I'd be happy to take any into consideration. As I said, I've been really busy but I'll try to commit more time this month to get some interesting stuff up here.

Thanks for the patience.

  1. I have found your past posts on how to make HP really ... REALLY helpful.

It is no secret the market crash has made making HP a lot more difficult... so I'd love an updated post on how to make HP in the current system.

Also, it seems that these 10 card raid deck events are the new norm... which is unfortunate because they are horribly boring to play, not to mention they more or less ignore good battle decks (main point of the game) and make having three raid cards a necessity to do well.

That said, if there is more to it than that, I wouldn't mind hearing other players thoughts. I've sort of dug in and committed myself to only spending personal HP in events until the prizes get better.

  2. looking forward seeing your best deck updates..im currently demon with 86atk/82def base would like see where my deck stand against your new list..My only question lately thats been buggin me has do with getting etheir my first event card or just acquiring my first sr card to build..or should i op for realm match event sr card like the sr scathach (is the only one comes to mind at the sec) and go that route. but with events always changing is it really worth puttin all my hp in one event card to build knowing that its skill wont preform well other event than the one it was issued for? i just dont know i could be over thinking it all lol. thanks!

    1. If you want an event card, you don't need to invest a bunch of hp. The rare event cards give a big boost to damage and only cost about 4 hp to put together. The hr ones usually about 12 and they give a great boost. Unless you're REALLY committed to doing well in the event, either of these options would function just fine and won't cost an arm and a leg.

As to whether to spend for a Scathach, don't judge it on its event skills unless you're committed to doing very well in THIS event. That massive damage turns to medium which severely degrades the cards value after next Monday. If you want that card specifically for the Great boost to Demons/Gods attack, wait till the event is over. The price will drop significantly. If you're just looking for an event card, just put together an ulster lancer. Its cheap, easy to skill, and will make a decent feeder card once the event is over. Don't expect it to sell after Monday though. Then it'll be functionally useless.

  3. Would be interesting to know a 10 card setup for event, seing as how realm bonus doesnt apply. Im guessing 4-7s of cards that are > 19k for hr are optimal but would like to hear your opinion.

  4. This might be a silly question but would a Lunar Werewolf event skill work in the Goblin event? I haven't been able to find any info about how event skills work once the named event in the skill is over.

    1. I haven't tried personally but I believe the rule is: If the skill says 'Bosses' it will work. If it says a specific type it won't.

    2. It'll work, but it'll only be a medium boost. Usually event cards have a "/" in the event skill section. The first boost is for the specific event in which it was deputed, and the second is for every other event.

  5. all event cards work. lunar ww, like most other hr/sr not specific to the current event is medium to large bosses -large bosses meaning anything you encounter in the event.

  6. I'd like to know what kind of decks are best for all realms when in hw. I'm not really getting the idea i'm getting the best out of my "hw deck" and i'd like to discuss that with everyone here.
Your blog is still awesome, so don't worry about the delays. People will stick with you anyway c:

    1. Unless you're a defense leader, typically you want at least one of the types of holy war decks.

Wall Buster Deck: Contains three wall breaker cards and two others with no boost but high attack. Make sure you have enough attack to use this deck at least three times per holy powder.

Farm Deck: Has a holy war point booster card and enough cards that you can attack three times per holy powder and still win against your typical combatant; which isn't hard because most people typically don't put any effort into their defense unless they're a defense leader or obscenely rich.

Hulk Deck: Contains your strongest cards (meant to take down a defense leader). This will probably be your typical deck.

It's ok (and cheaper) not to have all three types of decks, but be sure to coordinate with your order to make sure that all of the bases are covered.

  7. I'd be curious to see a post on your thoughts re: cost/benefit analysis of the game as a whole. Specifically from some different perspectives; that of a person willing to spend cash, a person who engages in bazaar trade, and a casual player who just likes to quest/participate in events.

A second thought is a post regarding leveling...or not. Currently my order is getting hammered by a couple other orders who are feeding on our lower leveled players with low level but powerful players. Unfortunately our "heavies" are much higher and cannot reciprocate due to the level gap.

Obviously there's more to leveling than just order v order stuff, but I'd be interested in your thoughts if it's overall a good thing to work on leveling or if one should try to avoid it.

  8. I would like to see an addition to the best decks have realm hit decks. That would definately be cool.

  9. I'd be interested in a break down of Quest Event strategies. I'm amazed at how fast some users rank up in these events with the big bosses and such a limited amount of AP(6). I must be doing something wrong. Oh and...battle strategies with other users to rank high and get more Gems.
