Best R/HR God Decks

There is a specific best Attack/Defense decks for each alignment. These set ups that will be listed are based on 6-2 evolutions for Rares, and 6max evolutions for High Rare on up.

Rare card God Attack Deck:

Leader: Agni - 11.3k attack - Medium Boost to Gods Attack
Second: Centaur Knight - 12.9k attack - Medium hit Foes Defense (all)
Third: Centaur Knight - 12.9k attack - Medium hit Foes Defense (all)
Fourth: Reshef - 13.2k attack - Medium hit to Foes Gods Attack
Fifth: Reshef - 13.2k attack - Medium hit to Foes Gods Attack

The true best attack deck for rare cards would be five Valkyrie Hilds but since these were referral cards and no longer obtainable for the same cost as rares, they aren't used in this composition. This composition uses 5% debuff cards instead of the 8% buff from Agni because the stat difference is just too high and 3% won't make up for it.

Rare card God Defense Deck:

Leader: Rhea - 11.4k defense - Med Boost to Def (all)
Second: Anemone - 12.5k defense - Med Hit to Foes Man Attack
Third: Anemone - 12.5k defense - Med Hit to Foes Man Attack
Fourth: Vayu - 12.4k defense - Big Hit to Foes Gods Attack
Fifth: Vayu - 12.4k defense - Big Hit to Foes Gods Attack

There is no reasonable option for a second buff in God Rares defensively. So instead what we are doing is maximizing the base defense in order to count on Rhea offering enough of a buff and hoping the attacker is Gods or Man for Anemone and Vayu's debuffs

High Rare card God Attack Deck:

Leader: Trow Elf - 19k attack - Big Boost to Gods Attack
Second: Pan - 18k attack - Big Boost to Gods/Demons Attack
Third: Pan - 18k attack - Big Boost to Gods/Demons Attack
Fourth: Sword Valkyrie - 17.7k attack - Big Boost to Attack (all)
Fifth: Sword Valkyrie - 17.7k attack - Big Boost to Attack (all)

Crystal Lily could just as easily be used in the last two spots. This composition will offer a high chance at getting three procs. Trow elf will buff the four other cards while Pan and SV will both end up buffing all five cards. Not only does this have a very high base damage, it has a nice balance of buffs.

High Rare card God Defense Deck:

Leader: Aspara - 18.3k defense - Big Boost to Gods Defense
Second: Xuanwu - 18.5k defense - Big Boost to Defense (ALL)
Third: Xuanwu - 18.5k defense - Big Boost to Defense (ALL)
Fourth: Xuanwu - 18.5k defense - Big Boost to Defense (ALL)
Fifth: Xuanwu - 18.5k defense - Big Boost to Defense (ALL)

Since Xuanwu has a higher base defense and weaker buff it only makes sense for Apsara to get the sure proc and Xuanwu's to be secondary. Another possible variation of this deck would be to use Marsyas from the demon realm in the lead spot, followed by two Apsara, followed by two Xuanwu. I personally prefer Apsara and Xuanwu because it's a sure two proc. Marsyas is also a sure two proc with a possible third, but he has lower stats and an increased chance to miss the Apsara proc.

  1. Hi Lucarda, thank you for the informative posts. Just wanted to check if Ifrit is an option.

    1. Ifrit is a very viable option. It's a few hundred less in attack, but honestly after recently realizing that the buff difference between an (all) card vs an (alignment) card is a full 5% (for some reason I had been thinking it was 3%). Ifrit is probably the current best card.

    3. An 'all attack' buff is 10% and a 'realm attack' buff is 13% considering it's big at skill 1. An 'all atk/def' buff doesn't exist, but a 'realm atk/def' buff is 8%.

  2. Now that gold foxes are readily available due to the tears event. Would you consider editing your choice for best rare god card deck.

    1. The problem I see with that is I feel I would be pushing people in a direction they should not be going. Once the gold fox's are gone after the event the only way to purchase them will be with gems earned from battle ranking. I would hate to indirectly advise people to purchase the card with the gem.

When I get a moment I may post their stats and offer them as a viable option.

  3. That is very true. I am going to include one from creating one now but I'll leave it at that. Thank you for the great blog though

  4. wouldnt a reshef with a higher attack be more valuable then a kratos in that spot?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Reshef with a higher attack would be more valuable. It was a newer card at the time and was not listed on the spreadsheet I used (similar to the issue one manticore in defensive demon deck).

Yes, he would be a better pick.

      Delete
    2. So am I understanding you correctly Reshef is a better flanker card than Kratos as listed, and either is better than 5 Agnis?

      Delete
    3. Yes. Realistically though 5 Agnis is not much weaker on average. The differences are negligible.

      Delete
    4. Thanks for the help, I know that Agni proc is a pretty substantial boost even at level 5. I'm torn on which way to go.

  5. How do you feel about the Cybele card in the high rare spot?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. I don't like her. She's a defensive card with an effect for (ALL) defenses. This means her skill boost is 8%. A card that effects (GOD) Defenses gives a 13% boost.

Realistically she's a nice affordable option especially with the current prices of Apsaras.

Cybele is 101k if you pop two ilmatars in base spots for the defense with god realm buff and if 3 cybeles hit.

Lets compare vs 5 paladins. 108k best case if three proc without a realm boost.

That being said, she's a good cheap option for a solid defense, but realm specific boosts are much better on defense.

      Delete
  6. Wouldn't 5 ifrits be better than 5 maya as the boost is 5% more. And could you stack 2 principalities in the last 2 slots for a bigger base attack.

    1. Guh. Yes. I honestly thought I updated this about a month ago when I updated demon decks. Fixing now.

  7. Would it be optimal to put Trow Elf in the 1 spot, followed by 2 ifrits and 2 principalities? If it is not, would you mind telling the difference in attack value?

  8. Rough Math:
83k with Trow, If, If, Princi, Princi
79k with If, If, If, Princi, Princi

    3 Procs each.
    64k*1.13*1.13*1.13=92345+19k=111345
    79k*1.13*1.13*1.13=113988

    2 Procs each.
    64k*1.13*1.13+19000=100721
    79k*1.13*1.13=100875

Ifrit wins in all cases except in the case of one proc alone.

  9. Where would Valk fit into the equation? Would 3 Ifrit be better? Or a mix of Valk? Just wondering.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Valk would be better in my opinion. The 2% on buff is well worth the difference.

14.1k on valk with 17k wings vs 15.3k ifrit with 17k wings.

      Valk: 116000
      Ifrit: 115000

Now for the downside, leveling skill is obscenely hard on a Valk. Based on this fact, I would always use Ifrit. You can easily get the Ifrit to skill 8 or so vs the Valk which is a huge pain to level.

  10. So I was able to obtain 2 Aspara through some shrewd trading, yay for people trying to sell cards quickly for cheap. I have enough HP to buy 2 more at current prices. Do you recommend just straight up purchasing them or trying to swing more deals? I have some Ifrits I am working on as well to get a 6-11, the Apsara are already fully enhanced, evo'd to + and and enhanced again. My defense is still shaky, I lose the majority of the time when attacked. (3 FF Rhea, 1 ff vayu, and 1 ff lampetia)

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. I would complete the Apsara. You don't get a true defensive upgrade to it in god realm until SSR, and even the the value of it is questionable.

One thing to always look for right now is the prices on some of the FF of a card vs the unevolved ones. If you look around you may be able to get a great deal on FF Apsara as well.

      Delete
    2. Price on FF is anywhere from 240-350. I just don't have the HP to buy one straight up. That is why I am not sure if I should allow the market to level off, or buy what I can now.

      Delete
    3. Yeah, that's a bit high. For that type of value personally I would create either a 6-10 or a 4-6. 220 or less on a 4-6 I'd buy it outright. Anything less more grab the raw cards and level them. With the current event it makes a lot more sense since you'll be gathering feeders like mad.

  11. i see this has been updated no more mayahuel and ifrit instead... good thing i only baught 1 maya so far lol

    1. Maya is not a bad card and if we start computing price per attack point, she is actually a really good option.

No worries, I'm still using a 6 max inugami that I paid 30HP per Inu for. I'll never get a return on that investment :P

      Delete
  12. You should update this chart. Elder Homunculus would be better than principality at this point. For the record, I tested trow in place of an ifrit in some calculations and found that she's better outside of your deck. Of course, I'm sure you knew that. :)

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Even if Elder is better I still couldn't advise using her in place of princi. Princi gives more versatility because it is used during Holy Wars vs a single event.

As for Trow I dislike using her since she's a demon card listed in a god realm aspect. On top of that, she is better sometimes but most the time I find Ifrit is better, especially when skills are leveled.

      Delete
    2. Outside your deck meaning 'without' by the way. You are correct of course.

      Delete
    3. Also, regardless of if you advise it or not, you condradict yourself by saying that. The best attack deck is the best attack deck regardless of versatility. I'm a pats fan tho, so I know the importance of being versatile. However, that doesn't mean ppl shouldn't switch him out of their decks when it's not during holy wars. Either way Elder deserves to be mentioned.

      Delete
    4. Well by that logic, using trow isn't viable. The best HR deck is 5 Claymore regardless of realm.

I still wouldn't advise Elder just like I wouldn't advise axe master as a wing card for man realm.

I hate advising people to purchase two types of cards:

Type 1) Very limited edition cards
Type 2) Cards that don't hold their value

      Elder falls into category two.

      Delete
    5. I wouldn't use trow either or another realm either for that matter. My point was that I tried using her thinking she might be better and I was wrong. She belongs outside of your deck entirely.

      Delete
    6. I never said you should use trow...however, for the other suggestion, everyone's entitled to their opinion. It'd just be nice if you laid out alternative options more thoroughly in your articles. Great reads though. I look forward to seeing your future updates. Thank you and that is all. Ps.Screen shots of some actual math might make you values a bit easier to understand to those interested. I have some thorough ones you can use if you would at least like to look at them.

      Delete
    7. Yes I misread that and thought you were saying to use Trow.

I try not to layout a lot of alternatives because I really try to pinpoint my articles to the topic. Sometimes I find myself meandering a bit though.

You will notice that below a lot of my lists I do name a couple nice cheap alternatives and in the future I do plan on writing articles about the cheapest most powerful realm decks. An example would be 5 Master Samurai which has 85k attack and is a demon destroyer.

I know I tend not to have a lot of pictures and should include more. I'm pretty bad about it.

If you feel that the pictures would be helpful to the readers feel free to email me at Rageguide@gmail.com and I'll check them out.

    8. What do you think if using qingling instead if Hermes. Is there a better, similar costing option?

      Delete
    9. I don't particularly mind Qinglong. His stats are a bit low but he is a nice cheap god option.

I think he only has about 16k attack and 15k defense though doesn't he?

  13. What's your opinion on using attack cards as wing in your defence deck? Specifically, I use your recommeded rare god defence deck, but I also have Ifrit and principality. They have no defence buffs, but their basic defence is much higher than Vayu.
Maybe it will even make my Rheas to trigger more often if the wing cards have no defence buff...

    2. It's absolutely fine to use attack cards as wings. The wing cards are just always supposed to be your highest defensive point cards with weak/useless buffs.

A good example of a great offensive orientated wing card you can use on defense would be hydra. SSR Demon 20k offense 20k defense. Great hit to demons attack is the debuff. I'd still use it as a wing card in my defense deck.

      Yes my ign is Lucarda

  14. So would anything change with the release of Sword Valkyrie? I am just now breaking into high rares and have a few stocked up from other realms. So I'm not sure if I should go for these or Ifrits. I'm still considering ignoring attack and focusing on getting Asparas to get a solid defense.

    So two things:

    1. Sword vs. Ifrit
    2. Is it worth more to skip getting a better atk deck and get asparas instead?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Ifrit as the top card, 4 sword valks following him in line. Super effective.

If your attack deck is 3Ifrit and 2 Princi atm or somewhere close to that, you should solidify your defense if you're not an attack lead. You only need to beat their top defense once. But generally 120k attack after buff is enough to farm the rest of the team comfortably.

Currently my defense is crap so even when I accumulate huge points during a war, the other team farms me comfortably. I would frustrate them a lot more if my defense was powerhouse.

Stupid new cards forcing me to update stuff.

    3. Thanks for your help. I'll focus on the attack deck first because I'm only sitting at 65k base right now. Once I start hitting for ~120k, I'll shoot for HR def deck.

  15. Hi I'm pushing from a R to HR defense deck, and Asparas are far too expensive. Would you comment on an alternative God def deck which is easier to get for now?

What about Shield angel + Cybele, I think the going rate for both is roughly 13hps each.

    1. Cheap and effective would be 5 shield. Forget about cybele altogether.

  16. So I started going Mayas before this was updated and I like the idea behind the defensive debuff deck. Maya is also a lot cheaper and hopefully will continue to drop if people actually start making fairies.

The big question I have is what is the max theoretical opponent that I can beat? With the attack buff decks this is simple to calculate, but the defense debuff decks I don't know all the math.

Assuming 6max Mayas x 5 (15,704... 78,520base) and assuming pre-opponent skills, how much higher than that base attack could the opponent's defense be in a winnable fight? And how much of a difference does the level of the skill make?

Thanks for the great blog! Always interesting.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Mayas are still nice for the price.

Given the fact that Mayas buff is lower since it is (all) and most defenses are composed of individual buffs it's a bit tough.

IF you level the top 3 Maya to skill 5 you will beat most defensive decks around 80k base. If you maintain skill 1 level, you will lose to most defensive decks around 80k base.

Fortunately 80k base is tough to hit. My second account has 80k base attack, but only 65k base, and a lot of players are in that same boat.

  18. Lucarda,

First - I wanted to thank you for all of your hard work. I've used your sight several times and I have directed several poeople here as well.

Secondly - Do you think it would be ok to use 2 Ninetails as the wing cards? A 6-11 Ninetails is 18.7k defense versus the 18.3k on the Apsara and they are going for as low as 8-9HP. Any thoughts?

    Thanks again!

    ReplyDelete

    1. I have no issue with using it as a wing card. I will note though that using a single ninetails in the last spot and an Apsara in spot 4 will yield slightly better results.

  19. Hi Lucarda,
love your posts. Here's my question. i am going from the HR to SR in the god realm. I love my ifrit but looking to go above 145 atk after boost. whats your thoughts. currently i am running with this deck. Sword valk, Ifrit, Ifrit, Fox Spirit Fox Spirit. started to build a sephirot.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Sephirots buff is weak (10%) and he doesn't break 20k. I don't know why you'd build him. I'd go after more foxes.

You're not going to hit 145 by replacing your cards. The key to all this is skill boosts. Remember, sword valks only offer an 8% base vs Ifrits 13%. I'd say skill both Ifrit to 10 along with a fox. Fox will offer 20% boost, each Ifrit 23% boost. Add in 5% boost for realm and 5% order boost and you'll break 145.

No need for new cards, you'll hit it with skill ups. Otherwise just buy more foxes. But even with 5 Foxes, if they aren't skilled up, you won't hit 145.

  20. So I'm just in search of a...compass. pointing me where to go from here.
My attack deck is 85,653 base attack
    Ifrit 14903 atk sk10
    Ifrit 14903 atk sk8
    Sword valk 18137 atk sk7
    Ancient fairy 18019 atk sk3
    Gilgamesh 19691 sk1
With this setup I am able to burn down most of what I come across but I want to know where to go to start upgrading my deck beyond where it is now. Do I go for s rares such as fairy princess? Less skill boost but more attack than ifrit?

    1. New card Haniel for offense. That's what I'd aim for. Also make sure you have 5 Apsara defense. Nothing more discouraging than not being able to dent a teams heavy attacker because their defense is too strong.

  21. Lucarda, great site! Wish I found it earlier. I'm trying to break into HR but have limited HP. Not very good at earning HP...prices drop too fast on the Bazaar.

My attack is 6-2 Agni, 4Max Agni, 4-0 Agni, 4-0 Gold fox, 4-0 Reshef
My defense is 3Max Shield Angel, 4Max Rhea, 4-0 Rhea, 4max Manticore, 6-4(?) Lampetia

Working on a Princi for HWs and as an ATK wing. Also, thinking of working on a 6-2 War Tiger as a wing since I have a few.

What do you think should be my focus? I'm currently a DEF leader of a very inactive order (40k+ ranking...maybe 3 of us actually participate).

I'm stuck at a fork in the road:

    1) do I try to work on my ATK and finish the Princi, the Tiger, and work on getting Ifrits?
    2) do I try to work on DEF and finish the Shield Angel and try to get cheaper HRs like Cybele?
    3) do I try to completely switch to a man DEF with Holy Knights, since I can't afford Apsaras

I have a Longinus that I was thinking of using as a 1 position in my DEF...

    Need your expert advise!

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. I would say option 1. Sell the Longinus, it's not a poor mans lance.

Get about a 60k base defense and then start pumping offense until you gather 3 ifrit, a princi, and some 17-20k god wing card. Work on defense after that unless you really want to be a defense leader and stick with your order.

Orders are always looking for members with 80k base attack that can attack multiple times per HP during a Holy War so you'll be a more promising recruit as an attacker. Orders only need 1 Defense leader, but they need lots of players to attack.

  22. i would say switch to a better order that helps you

  23. I'm building a GOD Defense Deck and the prices for Aspara are going down in BAZARR :) but why ? Is their a stronger defensive card that's out? I saw GOD Xuanwu (High Rare). Is the card GOD Xuanwu defense/defense skill stronger than GOD Aspara (High)? Curious to hear your thoughts :)

    1. There's no reason that Apsara's price should be doing down. The only reason I could see. Xuanwu's defense boost is only 8% vs Apsara's 13%. He is a worse card.

The only real reason Apsara's price might be dropping is because we are in the home stretch of an HP heavy event. This makes people less likely to spend their HP, and thus demand for the card goes down.

  25. Ok, now given my understanding of how buffs work, the math works out as follows for combinations of Sword Valkyrie, Crystalia Lily, Ifrit, and Trow Elf (no order or leader bonuses added, but realm added as it is relevant.

    5-Valk = 112,816 (1 proc); 129,326 (2 proc); 145,835 (3 proc)
    5-Lily = 113,210 (effectively); 129,777; 146,344
    Ifrit, 4-Valk = 113,588; 129,561; 145,534
    Ifrit, 4-Lily = 113,915; 129,935; 145,953
    Trow, 4-Valk = 113,519; 130,255; 146,990
    Trow, 4-Lily = 113,846; 130,629; 147,409

*The Lily numbers are based off of the size of an opponent she could take down, not her actual attack.

Because Order and Leader bonuses are added after this calculation, the Valk decks end up beating the Lily decks because of their higher attack value. Therefore, the best GOD HR attack deck would be a Trow Elf centering 4 Sword Valkyries, as long as more than one card procs.

    Is this correct?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Looks about right. Either way we're talking about math that is so close the fight will be decided on buff luck more than that tiny difference.

      Delete
    2. Still, it shows that 95% of the time a Trow Elf would be better in the lead position than an Ifrit. (Also, 5-Ifrit hits 133,667 - the stat difference is just too great for him to make up with his superior buff).

      Delete
    3. I'm aware. I just have a strong dislike for trow. She shines because gods better attack cards have 8% buff to all instead of a proper 13% buff.

      Delete
  26. Likewise on the defense, Xuanwu has a higher defense than Apsara, so a risk-taker might take on 2 of him as wing cards (especially since he is cheaper), however, running the stats over all possible outcomes, a deck with 1 of him will be overall 2.8% less effective than 5-Apsaras, and two of him would be 3.1% less effective (assuming 6-max evos at sk10). However, if only the Apsaras proc, a Xuanwu would provide better def (if you are willing to take that gamble).

    ReplyDelete
  27. 5 apsara is too expensive for me. (Even 1 ff apsara is already too expensive for me!) Can anyone suggest to me a god def build which is cheaper and still effective? This is also quite confusing because gods have many good selection of hr def cards.

    1. Shield angels/mystic fairies are cheap and effective.

  28. 'Good' is relative. Apsara is best. Xuanwu is second, probably followed by Shield Angel and Mystic Fairy. Minerva is good too. Or, you could go with Cybele and Ilmater, as suggested in the 'Best Cheap HR deck' article.

I'd go with the Mystic Fairy, as she has good stats and sells for 6-8 hp a piece, or 30-35 for a final form.

    3. The Crystal Lily should sell for cheap and would be effective. Trow is acceptable as a lead card if the deck is based around (ALL) buffs or debuffs.

Nymphs are barely better than rares.

Trow, Crystal Lily, Crystal Lily, Crystal Lily, Crystal Lily would be cheap and solid. If CL's sell for a lot more than Ifrit I would say Trow, Ifrit, Ifrit, CL, CL.

  30. lol...fair enough...just thinking the Nymph is cheap and could be a cost effective filler until i can afford more ifrits and the such...all of the crystalia lillys i see are about 35 a piece whereas ifrit is about 12 on average. I did find 2 Ifrit ++ maxed using a 3-5 evo tree for 50 hp...is that worth is? Then to finish my 6-7, i would need three more making it about a 74 hp card...pretty expensive at the end of the day...then you add a trow elf at about 75 itself and i just spent 150 hp on 2 cards...or should i ditch the elf and just try for 3 ifrits and do my nymphs until i can get better wings...i appreciate the comments. If i can swing 5 ifrits, would that be the best for HR in a God deck? Also, that trow elf is 18K atk and give a 13% bonus to all gods attackers, does that not make up for the diff b/t it and Ifrit, or i guess the point is why buy it when you can get an ifrit...

Just trying to live within my means since my rage medal purchases SUCK!!! Terrible luck...

Also, i have a 4-7 ax master and a 8-15 saccharine witch (dont ask why i went 8-15 b/c i didnt know any better). SHould i use those as wings or try and sell them and trade up to get better wings? Prolly better wings right since i dont get any bonus for them not being gods?

    1. Once the CL's are given out as prizes, wait a week. They'll drop in price by quite a bit I believe.

On the Ifrit subject. It is still a strong card if you skill it up so there is no harm in going with it. Unfortunately if you use it as wing cards you'll lack quite a bit of umph. Also, Ifrit isn't holding its value well lately so investing in 5 may prove to be a big loss later on.

Try 3 Ifrit, 2 CL. Just wait for CL to drop in price when the rewards hit the market.

  31. First off I have to say that I love and hate RoB because once you think you have a plan for your deck and think it is good, there are so many options and new cards that it is never ending.

Anyways, to my question. Currently here is my deck:

    Infrit 15.3 Sk 10
    Infrit 15.3 Sk 10
    Infrit 14.9 Sk 7
    Hermes 19 Sk 1
    Hermes 19 Sk 2

I guess my question is should I rotate out my 2 and 3 slots with Sk 10 Throw Elfs? It would increase my base atk by 8k, I know I would miss out on the realm bonus on them but wouldnt the 8k increase in atk make up for it?

    Thanks

    1. They can be upgraded to Lily (especially Maya).

Ancient Fairy is good against Demons, and a good wing. You could get an Orion and a Titan and have a different attack deck for each realm that will be very good.

You can save for SR/SSR cards.

      The choice is yours.

    2. Your deck isn't looking bad, primarily what I'm seeing is like Xargo says swap out that maya and fairy with Lily or SV depending on prices.

After that you have an interesting choice. What I personally would do is try to swap them out with Andromeda because the current price of Haniel is too high. Andromeda can be used as a 15% boost attack and defense card that has over 20k in each stat. This makes her good for both your attack and defense deck.

With currently released cards being what they are, that's what I would do. Enkidu is overpriced as hell.

Currently my deck that I am aiming for is:
___, Pan, Trow elf, Pan, ____

    2. Pan's 4-7 stats are 17.5. Honestly, for the price hike I wouldn't swap him out for the Trow SV combo.

If he drops in price enough, I think running Trow, Pan, Pan, Trow, Trow would be optimum as a god realm player.

"Thank you for playing Rage of Bahamut.

We plan to revamp the way that skill works in Rage of Bahamut starting Dec 26th. Please note that there are two changes:

      1) Skills activate more often based on Skill LVL:
Besides the leader card (which has 100% probability of skill usage), Skill Levels of the cards will determine the probability of skill usage. Therefore the higher the skill Level of a card the higher the probability that the skill will be used. Please also note that the maximum amount of skill used per battle is 3 per side.

      2) Identical Skills activate less often:
Identical Skills used in the same battle activate less often. For example, if the first Skill to activate is Skill A, then the probability that another card's Skill A will activate is reduced. If Skill A activates twice, the probability of it activating a 3rd time is reduced even further. This means that the probability of using the same Skills in one battle is reduced overall. * This will only affect decks which have identical cards. Different Skills which happen to have the same Skill Effect will still be treated separately and won't have their probabilities reduced.

(e.g. With a deck of two Bahamuts, one Bahamut+, one Bahamut++ and one [God Blast] Bahamut, the probability of the Catastrophe Skill activating more than once is reduced.)

*Please note that Holy Wars skills and Event Skills are not affected by the above change.

We appreciate your continued support in the game."

      4 - Hero King Gilgimesh 19.7K skill 5/10
      5 - Noble Centuar Chiron 18.5K skill 3/10

    @Lazypenguin

I dont know how you define affordable, but pan is one of the most expensive god hr cards atm. I think a solid and very cheap god hr deck would be ifrit-white rabbit - white rabbit - ancient fairy -ancient fairy.

A few days ago both rabbits and fairys could be found for 2hp each, prices seem to have gone up slightly, but 3hp is probably still doable. I've seen ifrit for 3hp, but you will probably have to expect paying 4-5. Buying 6 bases each of those would cost you around 100hp (a few days ago it could be done in 70hp) and gives a pretty solid 90kish base with decent buffs.

    1. Honestly, when I started...back when I walked in -40 degree weather uphill ton and from my phone to play...10hp for a HR was considered cheap as all hell. So I have strange values :)

  52. white rabbit is actually up all the way to 4-5hp right now. still not bad for its usefulness, but nor is it supercheap

    ReplyDelete
  53. Hehe, yeah. But currently the most expensive god HR cards are like 10hp (pan, apsara), and the vast majority of cards can be found for less than 4 (at least with some patience on the bazaar).

I think my above example could be classified as affordable in most definitions. The fairys could ofc be switched out for principalitys as originally suggested for a small extra cost.

    ReplyDelete
  54. Hehe I consider pan too expensive 15 hp per card isn't doable for me, so ill probably go with white rabbit or another card in that price range whichever has better stats, thanks for info, also about cards not stacking

    1. Well, i picked 3 ifrits up for 3 hp today, and i bought a white rabbit for 2 - although the rabbit was exceptional, i was looking to buy one at all but saw it and jumped the chance. It all depends a bit on how much time you're willing to spend on the bazaar of course.

If you have some interest in building your def deck you should pick some Eos up as well. They can be found for 3 hp with some luck. I bought two of them early for 5 hp each, and then another four now for 4-4-3-2 hp, total average just below 4, before running out of bazaar tickets just to see a whole bunch of 3hp offers coming out. Comparing them to apsara, xuanvu i think they should be priced more like 8 hp or so.

  55. Hi,

thanks again for the fast reply, after some more searching for options i tought about this deck. Please any advice/tips on the cards, i have noticed you don't really like to use a throw elf, if you could explain to me why exactly that would be great:

    1 ifrit 2 throw elf 3 white rabbit 4 princ 5 princ

should i change 4 into a skill card as well or do you think 3 is solid enough?

    ( deck based on a 8-15 skill lvl 10/10 )

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. I tend to think 3 is solid enough since I calculate everything assuming only 2 cards go off anyway.

Instead of Princ I would opt to get some stronger wings.

      Delete
  56. Trow elf is a demon card, so it doesnt benefit from your God realm boost, nor from the ifrit boost. Trow is a very strong card however, so it could be worth using it, but in that case dont combine it with Ifrit. So either you have Ifrit as your first card, and dont use Trow. Or you have trow as your first card and dont use ifrit. White rabbit and princ work with either, so those are all good.
Using the Trow is stronger than using the Ifrit, but it also puts some limitations as to what other cards you can use. The best card to combine with a trow would be a pan, second best Crystalia lily and third white rabbit (on HR god level, afaik).

Both crystalia and pan are currently pretty expensive however. If you cant afford to get one you will either have to use a weaker card. In that case you might as well use the ifrit you already have although that is a bit suboptimal.

The other way to go about it is to sell the trow, put the ifrit in the lead spot, and use the HP you get from selling the trow to buy a replacement (sword valkyrie is probably the best option, crystalia lily 2nd best).

    ReplyDelete
  57. I forgot Sword valk to combine with trow ofc!

Anyway, check out bazaar prices, and try to see if you can sell either the ifrit or the trow and buy a pan, sword valkyrie or crystalia lily to replace the card you sell with. A setup with trow/ifrit - sword valk/pan/crystalia - White rabbit - princ - princ is very good.

  58. Wouldn't this be the best HR God Defense deck?

    Apsara
    Apsara
    Xuanwu
    Ninetails
    Ninetails

    1st Apsara = 100% proc
    2nd Apsara = Reduced proc
    1st Xuanwu = Normal proc
    1st Ninetails = No proc
    2nd Ninetails = No proc

Taking into account the proc changes, only 3 cards can proc, and multiples have reduced proc chance. Rumored to be a 10% chance hit.

    Reasoning:
Apsara is still the most useful defense card even after taking the proc chance hit. Xuanwu is a close second. Then Ninetails has highest base and will not proc.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. The most recent data I have seen shows that the chance of an additional proc is cut in half. So instead of 50% chance, it would be 25% chance. And instead of 25% chance it would be 12.5%. These reductions are substantial enough to warrant the change. All of my decks attempt to maintain the highest base while maximizing 2 Procs. The third proc has always been a wild card.

If a player wanted to attempt 2 Apsara procs they could do Xuanwu, Apsarax4 if they wanted to try for 2 Apsara proc.

    1. I do know some people who like to do a 4-2, but with the extremely low price of them, I say go 6-2.

      Delete
    2. Yeah, i suppose there are differing opinions on that. I would agree to that argument regarding HRs which are real cheap (except for the very best ones), so no point not making 6 card evos.
But rares.. I've only played for like 7 weeks, and working to get rid of my last rares asap. I badly regret that i bought them at all considering i've only had them a couple weeks before getting rid of them, and i would certainly have regretted it even more if i had gone 6 card evos. I would assume the rare card market is just gonna keep dropping too, and it is already difficult to sell the final form cards for the resources spent on bases.

But it depends on the resources spent too. Rares are difficult to sell for hp, and even cw, but it might be possible to trade one rare that isnt needed for one that is, and in that case it is essentially no loss to get more cards and make a 6 card evo. And i would guess a 6 card evo holds it value better anyway.

    1. It would be better to use White rabbit than MH if you are god realm, they are about the same price. You could stick an ancient fairy in the 5th slot too, they are even cheaper.

      Delete
    2. but i believe the purpose of pan is to boost demon and god both at the same time. which is what MH does as well. just that it's in a different realm.in this case, all the skills affect each other. excluding trow which doesn't affect itself.

I've also tried using crystalia lily, which her debuff gets canceled out by buffs from the opponent..

currently, my deck runs as Valk Hild Sk9, Ifrit Sk10, SV Sk5, Crystal lily,Princi. any advise on how i can improve it?

      Delete
  62. A debuff with the same % as a buff is roughly the same strength (buff stronger if your deck base is stronger, debuff stronger if your deck is weaker). So the issue with pan/MH vs White rabbit isnt the debuff per se, it is the fact that pan/mh provides a 10% buff (at skill 1) whereas white rabbit only gives 8% debuff. But considering your MH wont get the realm bonus nor a buff from your trow they would be much inferior to WR. Basically, if we assume you have around 90k base, attacking someone with 90k base as well and one MH procs at 2% better than the WR would you gain 1.8k attack. But the two MHs will have lost a 13% buff from trow and the realm bonus which i dont recall what it is, 5% maybe? A total of 18% less to each MH compared to the WR, or a rough loss of 6-7k. So the MH deck would be about 5k weaker than the WR deck in that example.

Crystalia lily is a (slightly( better version of WR. The debuff getting cancelled isnt an issue at all - it still reduces the buff your oponent gets.

Anyway. Since you already have a skill 10 ifrit and a valk hild, neither of which would buff a trow, i say skip the trow. Your deck is actually pretty good already. The obvious improvement would be to replace the princ (outside of hw anyway) for a white rabbit, giving you a bit over 1k higher base with a good debuff in case your 5th card procs. After that i would say you'll need to head into SR base evos - but that is a bit out of my level of knowledge so hopefully you can get a better reply from lucarda.

    3. Helios is probably better. If it was released after my last decks update it wouldn't be mentioned. Considering I had to update my decks like 3 times in a two week period between new card releases and skill changes, I am not keen on doing another update for a bit.

  69. Do Trow Pan Pan then the best 2 wings you can afford. So either gilg or Thor if you can afford SR base cards. Else Sword valks. Or if your budget is really low do ancient fairy. Hope that helps

    1. thanks for the instructions, shouldve just gone with the deck posted by lucarda, i just was too clingy on michael

    2. Yeah, if you are god realm then trow elf is really only worth using on your top spots where its skill is likely to go off. So one trow elf in 1st or 2nd position is good, but using to trow elves isnt great, and certainly not as wings.

  72. I need a little help as to what to do next... I've been getting rocked non-stop defensively for the past two days and somehow seem to lose to defs that I shouldn't be losing to... I'm not faring too well on offense either losing out to full HR decks with less base than my atk... Both of my decks seem to need improvement and I only have around 100 hp left after the last HW to work with.

    On atk I have:
    6-11 Trow Elf
    6-11 SV
    6-11 SV
    8-15 White Rabbit
    6-11 White Rabbit
Total Base: ~93k (Trow skill 7, the rest 5)

    On def:
    6-11 Apsara
    6-11 Eos
    6-11 Eos
    6-11 Xuanwu
    6-11 Xuanwu
    Total Base: ~91k

Considering I lose 9-10 defs and barely win half of my offensive attacks... I think it's time for me to update my deck(s) and I don't know where to start. I am still skilling most of my cards but I still get the feeling that my decks are too weak...

    For my atk deck:
I was thinking about swapping the White Rabbits out for Pans (going along with your suggested deck) for the 2% extra buff but it seems as if going for anything less than 6-11 would not make up for the loss in base atk and it's hard for me to justify the cost of Pan, especially when SR wings with equivalent buffs would only cost a bit more (Cait Sith and Kitsune both have 10% buffs)

    On def:
I was thinking of swapping out both Eos for a Raph and another Apsara. But of course this would mean I'd have to save up some hp to do so...

    Would appreciate your input.

    1. Don't go up into a higher rarity till u make ur top three cards skill 10. Skill up cards is more important then gaining a measly 4k atk. Once u skill up ur cards then start looking into srs and ssrs

  73. If i were you (i am weaker than you though) i would try to increase proc chances by swapping out duplicates in both def and att deck. So swap one Eos for raph and run the xuanwus as wing. Getting another aps would seem unnecessary considering the reduced proc chance for duplicate. You coould also consider swapping a xuanwu out for callisto to further increase proc chances and make a profit meanwhile.

The very affordable option option would be to swap one eos for a callisto. That would net you a higher base and a higher chance of 3 procs, and running the callisto as wing it isnt that much of a loss to have a dual-realm hit. This would likely net you a profit as well as callisto are selling for 2hp.

For attack i wold say the same, get rid of duplicates to increase proc chances. If you get 3procs you will likely win a lot more battles. Replace one sword valk (with pan or one of the SR bases) and one white rabbit (with crystalia lily, or more expensive thor, or more affordable but worse options at 2hp/base in dwarf general or ancient fairy).

  74. If I got Raph (which is a bigger buff than Aspara), I'd use that as lead and to maximize the chance of getting an Apsara buff, using two would seem optimal no? The two Xuanwus would be the wings and would give a good chance at a third buff...

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Yeah, it would give pretty good chances of procs. raph-aps-aps-xuanwu-xuanwu is certainly a very good setup if we discount the reduced chance of a 3 proc. You would have one apsara going off most of the time, but calcing how often you'd get 3 procs is too complicated for me. :) And without the calcs all we can say for sure is that it will have a smaller chance of 3 procs than a setup with 5 different cards. Basically an aps that goes off instead of an eos would net you around 3.5k more combining base and skill. If the 3rd aps doesnt go off but the eos would have (ie, raph-aps-eos procing compared to raph-aps only) then the eos would net you 8k more on skill lvl 1, 17k more on lvl 10. So it comes down to how much more often you'd get 3 procs with aps-eos rather than aps-aps..

  75. alright, so my deck has vastly changed since i last posted and was wanting some help with ordering to get be results...Offense first:

    Currently have:
    1. FF 5-9 Haniel Sk 6
    2. FF 4-7 Ifrit Sk 10
    3. FF 5-9 Pan Sk 7
    4. FF 6-11 Sword Valkyrie Sk 3
    5. FF 6-11 White Rabbit Sk 7

Should i keep the Irfrit in one for the max bonus and move haniel to 2? Thoughts for bargain improvements noting that i would like to stay in God realm.

    And now my defense deck:

    Currently have:
    1. FF 4-7 Apsara Sk 10
    2. FF 4-7 Xanwu Sk 7
    3. FF 6-11 Apsara Sk 6
    4. FF 4-7 Hermes Sk 4
    5. FF 5-9 Haniel Sk 6

This is my first run at building a defense deck as i have never had one before. Got this deck on a bargain just before last event ended and ppl were selling like crazy. Thoughts for improvements? Cost effectively.

Thanks for the thoughts and help!!!

    1. Awsome looking deck. Honestly, with Chain bonus and Shingeki you should be able to destroy 90% of the defenses out there.

Cost effectively on Defense, you should just aim for another High defense card to replace Haniel.

on offense yes, bump Ifrit up. No reason to ensure the second best proc goes off. Otherwise, as mentioned above, offensively you look awesome. Most improvements won't be a bargain.

    2. Thank Lucarda!

I will work on finding a replacement for Haniel...maybe a fairy dragon or something like that.

    3. i ended up picking up a 4-7 fairy dragon to replace my haniel with, put it in the 4 spot and pushed my hermes to 5. The FD is only a 3 skill...until get it skilled up, i shouldnt move it beyond 4 right?

      Thanks...

    1. Pan boosts trow elf as well with a more powerful buff. Michaels buff is 10%, Pan's is 11%. I can't remember the exact stats but I think their stats are almost identical.

I don't know why anybody would choose Michael though to get an inferior boost and have to pay a fortune more getting it to Skill 10.

  77. What order would be the best with pan, ThrowElf and Ifrit

    All these Cards are SK10

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Assuming you are God realm, i was venture to guess that the ifrit and trow are interchangeable being the same boost and then pan would be 3...If you are god realm, id look to liquidate the trow and upgrade to a fairy princess or sword valk with an updated order being (assuming sk 10 can be maintained) of Ifrit, F/P or SV, and then Pan...

      Those are my thoughts.

      Delete
    2. Pan first, since it boosts the trow as well. Try selling the ifrit since it diesnt boost the trow - or get rid of trow if you prefer

  78. Made some more changes to my atk/def after a decent windfall from the CPs from the last event...

    ATK:
    Elven Queen 4-7
    Sword Valk 6-11
    Sword Valk 6-11
    White Rabbit 8-15
    White Rabbit 8-15

    Def:
    Apsara 6-11
    Elven Queen 4-7
    Eos 6-11
(sold 2 6-11 Xuanwu and another 6-11 Eos for the HW, but will be replacing the 2 open slots afterwards)

I'm thinking of running Apsara, Elven Queen, Raphaella, Eos, and Xuanwu after war; is this a good idea?

    ReplyDelete
  79. I'm working on my def deck, aiming for def leader in my order (slightly casual, but usually place in the 1000s in the wars)

    Currently my deck is

    6-6 Apsara
    6-6 Eos
    6-10 Xuanwu
    6-6 Xuanwu
    6-6 Callisto

My first priority is skilling up my Apsara, but my next move was looking into replacing the 6-6 Xuanwu with a Raphaella. Not sure whether to do 4-6 or 6-10, though. Any advice?

    1. Do a 6-6 best bang for buck. Only 50 less points than 6-10. And yes always get sk10

  80. Lucarda with Angelic Archer now released what's the strongest HR God ATK setup? Would it be:

    -Trow, Pan, Archer, Valk, Valk?
    -Trow, Pan, Pan, Archer, Archer?
    -or something else?

I currently have Trow, Pan, Pan, Valk, Valk setup you discussed in your original post (4-7s), was thinking about making a 6max Archer. What woulf be the strongest option?

Also, what do you think of White Rabbit since in theory debuffs are better and is Aps x1 Xuan x4 still the best God DEF setup?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Aps and Xuan are still boss. I think there was a split realm defense card that works there as well though.

Using Archers are recommended. Personally, I would place it as Trow Pan Pan Archer Archer. Something about flipping them to Trow, Pan, Archer, Pan, Archer just feels dirty to me.

Debuffs have been proven not to be better than buffs unless you can target the exact realm. Even in those cases the % is so negligible it's not worth risking. Buffs are hands down the way to go defensively. Aps+Xuan is still boss on the street I believe until you start mixing SR and SSR.

      Delete
    2. Awesome. And thank you for clearing that up about buffs.

Would that split realm defense card be Marsyas? Or Queen of Hearts? What would the setup be?

So then, assuming Archer is stronger than Valkyrie, and all my cards currently are 4-7s, should I go for 4max or 6max Archers? (I guess what I'm essentially asking is are 4-7 Archers better than 4-7 Valks so I'm not actually downgrading my deck despite stronger buff).

      Delete
  81. I'm using currently for my ATK Deck:

Trow Elf 3-5 (have the cards to make 6-11 (6 max)
    Sword Valk 6-11
    Urd 2-3
    Gold Fox 8-15
    Gold Fox 4-7

I bought both Gold Fox from Bazaar when I started playing this game, they were just 2/3 HP each. Very cheap card to buy for beginners and has 13k atk.

As I have 7 accounts, I got 7 Angelic Archers thanks to the HW. So I will replace Urd with 6-11 Angelic Archer.

Oh Dashaway, I advice to use 6 max always on HR cards, this way you can sell it when you have better cards. Difference between 6 max and 8 max is just 0.37% while difference between 4 and 6 max is 3%. But Sword Valkyrie is 500 atk stronger than Angelic Archer, but Angelic Archer has 10% boost to Gods + Demons while Valk has 8% to All.

But Lucarda, I advice to change the God HR Deck. Replace Pan with Angelic Archer. Angelic Archer and Pan have same boost, both 10% to Gods/Demons but Pan has 250 attack more. But if you look to the costs of both cards, on Bazaar Pan is worth 14 HP while Archer is 3 HP. So I think it's better to use Archer instead of Pan on the spots. For 6 max you have to pay 66 HP more to get 250 attack extra.

I think this would be better God HR Deck:

    Trow Elf 6-11
    Angelic Archer 6-11
    Angelic Archer 6-11
    Sword Valkyrie 6-11
    Sword Valkyrie 6-11

This gives a base attack of 91.910, than you have 5 cards that at least give 8% extra attack, Trow Elf gives 13% and very usefull as leader card. Cause you suggested HR deck is just 90.400 attack. And your suggested deck has also 4 expensive HR cards, as I advice everyone to use at least 6-11 for there HR cards it would be a very expensive deck.

But you can always change the Sword Valkyrie with Angelic Archers or cards like Ancient Fairy's. Ancient Fairy has 18,6k attack and is just 2HP in the Bazaar, works perfect for Wing Cards.

But Lucarda, would love to hear your opinion about this. I think you should change Pan, cause the price of 14 HP compared to 3 HP of Archer is just too big of a difference for just 250 attack difference.

  82. My deck is currently:

    Trow Elf
    Pan
    Angelic Archer
    Crystalia Lily
    Chiron

I have finished a 6-11 Haniel and am wondering which card to replace to give best proc and highest atk. I am thinking its Trow, but hate giving up the 19K if boosted by AA and Pan. Any suggestions? Also, any thoughts at the best SR/HR mix deck now that SRs have fallen in price and HRs are essentially rares?

    ReplyDelete
  83. haniel replace trow.

pan better than trow in lead spot in a pan/trow setup.

eos better than xuanwu in 2nd spot.

with so many optiobs around and reduced proc on dupes there is no reason to run dupes.

att: pan- trow-aa-svalk-crystalia (92k base, great boosts)

    def: aps-eos-xuanwu-sylvan enchanter - callisto/ninetails/shield angel

depending on 5th a bit ofc, but around 90k base, three boosts, a debuff and a 5th card where tjere are multiple choices

    1. I do not recall any card the name of sylvan enchanter, unless you speak of the man card with boosts to atk and def? Of so, why her? Everything else you state is quite agreeable

    2. I think he meant Enchanting Sylph, a God HR def card with big hit to foes atk all.

    3. thank you, yes, that is the correct name. was just writing from memory.

      Delete
    4. The new HR god they just released is pretty good, Deirdre. Great for 2/3 slot and now the whole deck covers all realms

      Delete
  84. oh, affordable mix hr-sr would imo either mean getting haniel (~60-70 per base) and run haniel-pan-aa-svalk-crystalua lily (~92k assuming 4card haniel 6card rest, with 25+20+20 boosts at skill 10) or going sephirot+thor at a slightly lower cost for pan-trow-aa-seph-thor (96k, 20+23+20 but trow not boosting itself so actually more like 20-19-20 in practice)
those two decks are pretty similar in strength.

a viable option atm is cait sith with price tanking due to goblin exchange.
